- 01Yes! We provide safe and reliable bus transportation to and from camp at no additional cost. Our buses are staffed with trained bus counselors who ensure a fun and secure ride every day.
- 02We offer multiple convenient community bus stops throughout Mercer and Bucks counties. Families will receive their assigned bus stop and schedule before the summer begins. If a different location works better for you, we can always make a change!
- 03✔️ Experienced, trained drivers ensure a safe ride. ✔️ Bus counselors supervise and engage campers during transit. ✔️ Strict attendance procedures ensure all campers are accounted for. ✔️ Clear communication with camp staff so families stay informed.
- 04Bus stops are determined based on camper locations and enrollment. If you’d like to suggest a new stop, please contact us! While we can’t guarantee changes, we always look for ways to improve accessibility. The best way to create a new stop is to bring us more campers from your area!
- 05If you need to adjust pickup or drop-off arrangements, please notify the camp office as early as possible (but no later than 12 pm). Same-day changes may be accommodated, but advance notice is preferred to ensure a smooth transition. In the event that a change to pick up is necessary, the following process is in place: 1) Change requests must be received in writing via email to JCCAbramsCamps@jccpmb.org as early as possible, but no later than 12 pm on the day of the requested change. 2) A confirmation of the change will be sent via email by 1pm. 3) If you have not received a confirmation, your change has not been made! Please call the office at (609) 606-7070 to ensure that your child will be departing from camp appropriately.
- 06Every guardian will receive two (2) Transportation Cards. This card will need to be shown to camp personnel at pickup. No campers will be dismissed without an authorized adult for pick up. If someone different will be meeting your camper, please notify the office via email before 12 pm. Campers will only be released to those people authorized on the Transportation Form. Anyone who does not have the Transportation Card will be required to show picture ID.
- 07We understand that putting your child on the bus for the first time can feel overwhelming. Our trained bus staff provide a welcoming and reassuring environment for all campers, with special attention given to younger campers. Each bus has a dedicated counselor who ensures that all children are seated safely, feel comfortable, and are engaged during the ride. We also provide clear communication with parents, including updates on bus arrivals and departures. If you have any concerns, please reach out to our team. We’re happy to discuss accommodations to make the experience easier for you and your child.
- 08🚍 Currently, we use community bus stops – and for good reason! Our bus stops are designed to build community and connection among campers. We partner with local organizations (like synagogues) to provide safe and welcoming pickup locations. If you are interested in discussing the possibility of a private stop, please contact the office at (609) 606-7070.
- 09Yes! Families who live or work near camp can pick up and drop off directly at camp. Please note that we do not offer reimbursement for those who choose not to use our transportation options. JCC Pickup & Drop-Off Option: 📍 Drop-Off: 8:45 - 9:00 AM 📍 Pickup: 3:45 - 4:00 PM
