Yes! Campers have plenty of shade throughout camp, including pavilions, picnic groves, tents, and natural tree cover. We make sure every bunk has opportunities to rest and cool down during the day.

At JCC Abrams Camps, we embrace “liquid sunshine”—a little rain won’t stop the fun! If it’s light rain, campers continue outdoor activities as usual while staying safe and comfortable. Yes! Campers are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle, and we have multiple cold water hydration stations around camp for quick refills. Our staff reminds campers to drink frequently to stay hydrated.
