I can’t believe this will be my 14th summer at the JCC Abrams Camp and that I’m about to have a 2nd year Counselor and a Madrichim – time sure does fly by! JCC Abrams Camps has been a second home for our family. Camp is a place where all children can be silly, make mistakes, embrace their Jewish values and just be themselves. In addition to planning year-round programming, I spend a lot of the off-season getting ready for another amazing summer experience. Looking forward to another amazing summer!
Assistant Camp Director
I have been part of JCC Abrams Camps for the past 25 years along with my two children, Jared and Erica. To me, camp provides a second home where our second family meets each summer to reunite as if we had never left for the school year. Throughout the winter months, I enjoy planning for the next camp season, teaching at Adath Israel religious school, and facilitating anti-bullying program through the Girls Unlimited Program and the Peace Center. There is no place I would rather be each summer than with your children surrounded by songs, smiles, sunshine, forming friendships, and creating fun! I am looking forward to yet another fabulous summer!
I can't believe that I will be entering my 12th summer at JCC Abrams Camps. My daughter, Eliana, started camp as a preschooler and will be a 2nd year Counselor this year. My son, Josh, will be in the Teen Travel program and can’t wait for camp to begin! Every year I love welcoming back our camp families, as well as meeting our new ones! It’s amazing to see the campers grow and mature from year to year. I look forward to a fun camp season!
Unit Director • PreK - 1st Grade
I am so excited for another summer with this amazing camp family! I feel truly honored to spend my days with our youngest campers (Prek-Kindergarten)! I love to combine my passion for working with young children with my love of all things Abrams Day Camp!! I have been a JCC Abrams kid since the summer of 1981, and camp truly feels like a second home to me. I have worn many different hats in my past, from camper to counselor, specialist, and unit director. My kids Joel, Jacob and Ruthie will be joining me for our 11th summer together. We like to think of ourselves as Abrams lifers!
Unit Director • 2nd - 3rd Grades
I can’t believe this will be my 10th summer at the JCC! I am very excited to take on a new role, as a Unit Director, on the Leadership Team. My years at camp have truly transformed me into the person and educator I am today. I recently graduated from The College of New Jersey and now I am a second grade teacher in the Edison school district. Forming long-lasting relationships and helping children grow to their fullest potential fill me with happiness! Camp is more than a four letter word. It’s a family, second home and happy place for many. I can’t wait for all the fun that summer 2024 will bring!
Unit Director • 4th - 6th Grades
I am so excited to join the JCC Abrams Family this summer! Camp was a huge part of my life growing up and where I met some of my best friends. I have been teaching upper elementary for 15years and join the Leadership Team with over 10 years of camp staff experience. After spending the last few summers writing curriculum, I am eager to jump right back into the fun. My children, Mia and Tyler, will be along for the ride as they enter their first and second summers at Abrams. The thing I am most looking forward to is creating amazing memories with my new camp crew!
Unit Director • Teen Travel
After many great years at camp, I am so excited to be the Unit Director of Teen Travel this summer! I am looking forward to creating new memories on the road, while still maintaining my relationships with the campers at camp. Looking forward to my great 11th summer!
