I am thrilled to be entering my 13th year -- my bat mitzvah year, at the JCC Abrams Camps. Watching my two son's Benjamin & Jonah and all of their friends grow throughout our JCC Camp programs has been such a joy. Creating a summer experience filled with lifetime memories of songs, stories and laughter is why we live "10 months for 2."
Together with our AMAZING Leadership Team we will provide your campers with the single best Jewish Day Camp experience of their life. We thank you for sharing your children with us and you have my commitment that we will keep them safe, happy and loved.
Assistant Camp Director of Lower Camp & Keshet Unit Director
I have been a part of JCC Abrams Camps for the past 19 years along with my two children, Jared and Erica, who are senior counselors. Camp to me, is an extended family. During the winter months, I enjoy planning exciting programs for the next camp season. I also teach Judaic Studies and am a Peace Center Facilitator in the PA public schools, empowering kids to combat bullying. There is no place I would rather be each summer then at Abrams Day Camp surrounded by singing, smiles, sunshine, meeting new friends, and creating fun! Looking forward to another fabulous summer!
I can’t believe this will be my 9th summer at the JCC Abrams Camp – time sure does fly by! I spend most of the off-season planning for another amazing summer experience. I am your “go to girl” if there is anything our camp families need. I have two children Sam and Noah who look forward to their last day of school and their first day of camp! Camp is a place where my children can just be kids, reunite with their friends, try new things all while making tons of memories!
Unit Director - Pitzelah & Yeladim
I am so excited for another summer of action packed fun! I feel truly honored to spend my days with our youngest campers (Prek-1st grade)! As an early childhood educator, I love to combine my passion for working with young children with my love of all things Abrams Day Camp!! I have been a JCC Abrams kid since the summer of 1981, and camp truly feels like a second home to me. I have worn many different hats in my past, from camper to counselor, specialist and unit director. My kids Joel, Jacob and Ruthie are here for their 6th summer, sharing my Abrams ruach! We like to think of ourselves as Abrams lifers!
Unit Director - Gesher
I'm so excited for my 3rd summer on the Leadership Team! During the school year, I teach special education to fifth graders in Manalapan. In addition, I am the Youth Director at Congregation Beth Chaim. My husband and I enjoy spending time with our 4 kids, Zoey, Sammy, Alexa, and Teddy. I have always loved going to and working at camp. I love seeing campers have fun, learn and gain confidence as they explore new things. Camp to me is all about fun, friendship and ruach. This summer, I'm also looking forward to my new additional role as the Madrichim supervisor and engaging with the campers and counselors during activities and seeing smiles all over camp. I can't wait for the summer!
Unit Director - Alufim
I am excited to begin my 8th summer at JCC Abrams Camp. I have been the Unit Director for Alufim since we started this combination camp and travel program. Alufim campers pursue many different interests as we develop friendships that last throughout the year. I can't wait to see our returning campers next summer and get to know a group of new ones too! During the school year I am a middle school language arts teacher, and as much as I love reading, summer is a time to play outside and make new friends. Camp, for myself and my 3 sons, has become our home for the summer and I hope your child comes to feel the same way. I look forward to watching my oldest son become a counselor this year too. Join us for a summer to remember!
Unit Director - Teen Travel
This will be my 7th summer back at camp and 4th summer as Teen Travel Unit Director. During the off season I continue my passion with working with children as a teacher and baseball coach in Lawrenceville, as well as spend my nights/weekends as a DJ for many different social events. I am looking forward to connecting with our incredible teens on some unforgettable new adventures for Summer 2019! Trivia Tuesday prep has already begun…
Camp Administrative Director
I am excited to be at JCC Abrams Camps for my 7th summer. I have two children, Eliana and Joshua who can’t wait for camp to begin. Every year I love welcoming back our camp families, as well as meeting our new ones! It’s amazing to see the campers grow and mature from year to year. I look forward to a fun camp season!
Unit Director - Sports, Adventure & Security
I am very excited to be back at camp for the 6th year. Sports have been a passion of mine throughout my entire life. I have played on competitive ice hockey, football, lacrosse, baseball, and soccer teams; however, ice hockey has always been my passion. Currently, I am a Physical Education and Health Teacher in West Windsor and ice hockey coach. I believe that kids learn so many important life lessons like teamwork, communication, and how to win and lose with class, while playing sports and being on sports teams. I will also be overseeing our camp-wide Let's Move season and color war games. My goal for the summer is to help campers gain confidence in their athletic abilities, and make playing sports fun for everyone.
We take great pride in providing a safe, fun and unforgettable camp experience.
The JCC Abrams Camp Leadership and Specialist teams are comprised of diverse and highly-skilled teaching professionals that work together to provide a safe, fun-filled creative camp experience. Together with our five-star counselor staff, we work hard for each camper to thrive in a positive atmosphere so that they can reach their fullest potential. Promoting everyday values through a Jewish lens helps build character, compassion and camaraderie through the entire camp.
